We are moving from city sewer to a new septic system, family of 4. We are used to using disposable wipes on occasion, wondering if they are able to be used in a septic tank?????:)

Hi and welcome to the forums.
Its not a good idea to put them in a septic system. They are not biodegradable, and depending on the type of system you have, they can stop up field lines and clog up pumps.
It's best just to put them in the waste basket.

They aren't even good for city sewer systems.

Can't even tell you how many baby wipes I've pulled out of jammed pumps. Don't flush them!!

It's easy to remember what is OK to flush.....
If it's other than what's coming out of your body and toilet paper......don't flush it!
All other products are not safe for flushing...even the ones that claim it is OK.
And don't drive across it, plant a veggie garden, plant certain trees near it or build on top of it. Your county government may be able to tell you where the drainfield is located if you don't know.
