I have bought a new "old" house and going through some rather extensive renovations including a complete kitchen redo.
My contractor will install a new stainless steel sink undermounted. what is the recommended gauge for this type sink/installation? any other details I need to know?

That question is mostly subjective, the heavier the gage the higher the cost, your call.
