Tripped over my coax cable last night and ripped the coax mount right out of the tv, damaging the circuit board as well.

So I now need a coax TO hdmi/s-video/usb/rca adapter. Does anyone know if such a thing exists? I've found a lot of hdmi/usb/svideorca TO coax adapters but that doesn't help.

Anyone? Thanks

Matt

Unfortunately, no such thing as a 75 ohm (coax) to video input adapter. Your coax input goes into the tuner, whereas the other video inputs bypass the tuner. You'll either need to somehow repair the coax connector and circuit board or go to an outboard tuner, bypassing the TV's tuner. The outboard tuner can be in the form of a cable or satellite box, VCR, etc.

your best bet would be to do some research on the tv, and the particular board in which you damaged, and try to get a new module. From what I recall, there is a place that goes by the name of tri-state-module, that supplies and rebuilds a lot of different modules for tvs
