Hello,
I just installed a Honeywell HE360A on to an older TempStar Furnace with the H8908B Humidistat. Do I need to buy the sail switch or is there a way to bypass the switch? If so how would I go about doing so? Any help would be appreciated!

How old is "Older"?
What is the full model # on the furnace? Have you looked at the control board and see if there any HUM hook up on it?

I'm not able to find any manual on line for this model.
You'll have to look at the wire diagram that can be found on back of the blower door and see if there is a HUM or EAC hook up on the furnace... being it's a '90 model, I am going to guess there is none.
Let me know what you see on the diagram. If you can't read it, take aphoto of it, and post it here for me to view.

The photos needs to be uploaded onto a photo host site, then past the "direct link" URL on to the pop up here.
If you don't see HUM, then you are going to have to use the sail swtich that comes with the kit.
