Hi, I made the mistake of putting new marble countertops on old kitchen cabinets. Now I want to replace the cabinets, but keep the marble countertops. Can I prop up the countertops, remove the cbinets and slide the new cabinets in? What would be the best way to do this without breaking the marble? I've already bought the new cabinets, so I've got to do it. HELP!!!!The counter is 110 inches long and heavy. Thanks very much.

If the cabinet configuration is the same(exactly the same), reusing the old top is not a problem. But I would find a stone countertop outfit to do the transition, or the same outfit that originally did the top. They will not jack it up, they will remove it and reintall it after the new cabinets are in place. Keep in mind that cabinets MUST be dead level for stone tops.
