I am in the process of repairing a leak between my aggragate contrete patio and my foundation. I have cleared the crack, will fill with sealer but, the patio is slanted so that water pools in one corner. My question is; What kind of cement to I use to create a dam over the joint so water does not accumulate? I beleive this to be the only permanant solution?

The only permanent way is to eliminate the leakage is to get the slab level. Mus jacking can do this and has been used for many years on all types of concrete slabs and foundations. They drill holes and pump in a concrete mud at the different location in the low area. If you have an exposed aggregate, you can always seed the top of the plug with aggregate.
Any concrete in the void will crack during seasonal temperature and moisture variations. It may take a year to do it. It is just a "band aid" and does not solve the problem.
If the drainage is corrected, a very high quality exterior caulk applied over a properly sized "backer rod" (cylindrical foam rod) to keep the miniml water out.
