I just installed a new boiler and taco pump in my two story house. The first level seems to heat ok but not the second level. It seems the heat gets to the first room but doesn't go any farther. I've bleed the system but that doesn't seem to help. I have about 12 pounds of pressure. Does the pressure make any difference of how the pump works? The pump has been on all day. Any help would be appreciated. P.S. The old system seemed to work fine.

What boiler?
How is it piped?
Are the first and second floor on separate zones?
Zone valves or circulators?
Did you follow the manufacturer's directions for boiler piping, valving, venting and wiring?
More details please.

I know you said you vented the system, but your symptoms suggest that there is still air in the piping somewhere, blocking the flow.
