If you're asking what the largest file you can accept as an email attachment is, you'll primarily be limited by any policy (or policies) that your email provider may have. Many providers have a 10MB limit.
I say primarily because obviously your computer can't receive an attachment if there isn't enough disk space to store it, etc.

I would ask your internet provider.
The only time I have ever had a problem with mail box size is when someone tries to send a large number of full resolution jpeg files.
