6 car driveway. condition good. wood joints disintegrating from age, insects and weeds.

how to replace? with what? how much? why do ppl use caulk?

Pry the old stuff out, clean out the joints to the correct depth, then put new pressure treated (ground contact rated I think is ok, might need below ground rated?) wood in its place. Thats what I've done anyway.

Never saw caulk used back east..but thats what they do here..not sure why.
