Hello,
Recently we have installed a screen, projector, sound system, etc. in our bonus room above our garage. Now we only need to find adequate furniture for the room to enjoy movies. Normally this may be easy however my wife and I have some challenges:
1.) The entrance door to the bonus room theater is only 30" wide and 80" tall. We will either small units or modular units which come apart.
2.) We are torn to either putting a sofa, chaisse, sofa combination; or a sectional; or whatever else?
3.) The width of the room to view movies is 14' wide. Not a whole lot of room to work with inside the viewing area.
Any thoughts, websites, etc. is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Joey

What is the distance between the studs on either side of the door? Last resort temporarily removing the door jamb might give you the 32" you need for some furniture.

I would go with the sofa combination. It is a theater room, it has to be comfortable. The more room to lounge and relax the better.
Sounds like it is going to be beautiful!
