i rear an article that stated 'the sent email was deleted,without having been opened"
how cn i tell from 'my'end if some one recieved/opened an email-i sent?:confused:

There really is no legal way. There are programs that will mail you back but they require the recipient to authorize the sending of the received notice. Short of installing an illegal Trojan on their computer you really can't as far as I know.
You could send them a letter by USPS certified return receipt requested and that would legally be proof for court.

the article i was refering to was in the news paper-where a citizen had sent a email to a congressman-& claimed it to be deleted without being opened.
i was wondering because i have sent an email or 2-3 with no reply

I use the "Request read receipt" in Outlook Express; not sure about blocking the function, though. :coffee:
