I live in a apartment and I would like to replace existing SECO TA2000 thermostat with a 7 day programmable t-stat to save some energy. What would be suitable replacement? Would Honeywell Model # RTH7500D work properly for this purpose? Air handling unit is Goodman AWB24-08C. I’m not sure how the heating is arranged or what kind of outside unit I have. I do see that the following wires in the current TA2000 are connected:

W2
O
X
R
Y
G
E

I would appreciate your help on this.

Are you allowed to do this? I know some landlord don't allow this.

From what I gather of what you given so far it's a heat pump. If that is the case, you are not going to save any money by setting back the temp on the heat pump system.
