I have a 10~ year old Sony camcorder that that takes 8mm video cassettes.
I can copy camera pictures to a CD recorder by way of RCA jacks from camera.

I would like to download camera movies to a DVD by way of my computer DVD burner. Is this possible? And if so,how do i do this?

Thanks

Greetings,
I actually had the same issue a while back and found the perfect solution to my problem and it has worked flawlessly for me for both transfering movies to my PC from my older video cam and even making DVD copies of my old VHS movies to be burned to DVD.

Check out this little device it will do exact;y what you are looking for.

Easy Capture USB 2.0 DVD Maker A/V Capture Device,VHS to DVD Converter (http://www.pinecomputer.com/dduusb20veca.html)

Hope this Helps!

twistEdfish,

Thanks for your reply. That looks to be what i need.

I'm thinking of putting my home movies on A DVD instead of the 120 VHS tapes.

Thanks again
