Greetings All,
I am looking for any suggestions in stopping the neighborhood cats from using my flower beds as a litter box, Anything i can place in the flower beds to deter them from entering aside from a very large dog. LOL

I know the easiest solution would be to get my neighbors to keep their cats off my property according to the feline leash law but that is not going to happen. So any suggestions as to a non lethal solution to keep them out of the gardens would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any information at all!

Motion-activated sprinklers work pretty well. :coffee:

They do sell pellets that you can sprinkle in the area...not sure how well they work though. I remember they said they lose effectiveness after rain...so if you water the area prob the same thing. I think they may have been called "SCAT"?

Feline leash law? Never heard of that....should have a kid leash law instead, at least with my neighbors....lol

Thanks guys,
Gonna hit the local Pet smart and see whats available i spoke to them on the phones they say there are quite a few products available for that purpose.

LOL Gun I feel ya there brother we actually had to move our flower beds to keep the neighborhood kids from popping the tops off all of my lillies to take home to mommy as they walked by my yard going to and from school.

BTW here in Baltimore we have a feline leash law that states if you let you cat out side of your house you must keep it contained to your own property with the use of a figure 8 harness and a leash that will not allow the animal to cross your property line or reach any fence on your property if a fence is present.
