Hello guys, I'm new here and have been wanted to drop down a wall in my basement for a long time but wanted to make sure i dont mess anything up so i thought i could ask it here. First of all, the reason i want to drop this wall is because i'm making my own mancave. Beer 4U2 Since its in the basement, im almost certain this wall is not load-bearing wall, but im not sure if there is a wooden support beam inside the end of the wall because there is definatly one on the other side of it. Its hard to explain what this is so i took some pictures to show you guys what i mean.

What im trying to say is that im 95% sure the collumn to the right is a load bearing collumn, can i remove the bracing to the left of it or do i need to keep that?

your prob going to have to open that wall up to see how it is layed out and see how the framing is.
