the rubber in my PBB shredded and I took everything apart on my cooler but cannot get the old bearing off to replace it.. Is there something special I need to do? I've used liquid wrench, beat it with a hammer, tried to twist it off to no avail..

Sometimes bearings can be stubborn. If you have a torch, you can try heating the area up and then see if the bearing slides off.
The other option is to buy a new shaft and replace both bearings, provided you can get the blower wheel off of the old shaft!:)
