A corningware glass casserole dish exploded after I removed it from the microwave. It had put in on top of the stove (which the burner was on low and I didn't realize this). The glass wen all over the kitchen in a downward direction (fortunately) and didn't hurt anyone. However, several burn marks are on the linoleum. Is there any way of mitigating this damage. We lease and this floor is about 20 years old, has previous tenant nicks from refrigerator being moved. There are about 10 marks on the floor. Some of the casserole contents "stuck" to the floor. Thank you:confused::o:o

if the surface is damaged or burned...then thats about it. Remember if you get stuck paying for the damage...have them take into consideration the age. You are responsible for prerental condition...you are not responsible for returning it to new (minus 20 year condition). Chances are...they may charge you somewhat and not replace the floor
