Not sure if I should post this question here, but here goes.

Does anyone know anything about the energy credit in regards to Central Heating and Cooling systems? What is the minimal SEER that qualifies you for the credit? Any information is appreciated.

Most 15 seer equipment will qualify. Best thing to do is ask your HVAC company what will. If you get more than $1500 back from the IRS you will get nothing for the equipment.
