Makita was having troubles with the Lithium 18V for this drill driver.
It was most likely the charger was overdoing the charge just for a fast charge. Makita of all people should know better. They would have lost thousands on replacement batteries.
That was about 1-2 years ago. Did they fix this problem????????????
Anybody from Makita or someone in the know ?????
The fix would have been in the last 12 months or so.....
It seemed to affect the 1.5ah more than the 3ah packs.
This is not the XLT unit.... just the regular compact 18V drill.
