im currently having a probelm with the outside unit running even though the fan on the inside is has shut off and will run freeze up the line to the coils. It doesnt do it all the time, sometimes it will shut off. But it running bothers me. I had a repair person come out when the capacitor about blew up. He hooked up the gauge to the line and let it run he didnt say it was leaking. Also I changed out the filters. Any help would be great.

This seems to be an electrical problem. Could be an intermittent fault in the 24-V control circuit or the 240-V contactor sticking closed.
