I’m looking to replace my old cabinets and don’t want to spend a ton of money. My existing cabinets are about 30 years old and while they are still serviceable and in decent shape, they are super cheap and look the part. I want to replace them with ready to assemble cabinets that don’t have any particle board. Lowes carries a set by Kitchen Classics that appear to be pretty decent quality (Plywood sides and bottoms with solid faces and drawer boxes). However, I’m not a fan on either style and the sizes are limited. Does anyone know of any home centers or other stores that sell affordable ready-to-assemble cabinets that aren't constructed of particle board? Barring that, does anyone have any suggestions for online retailers? I’ve looked at Kitchen Cabinet Depot Online and RTA Cabinet Store so far.

I has the same problem, and went with HD mdf cabinets but built my own door and drawer fronts.
