Have 12 -15 Meidiland Scarlet Rose Bushes that were planted in my yard at least 2 homeowners ago. They are not faring well. Was suggested to me to cut them down to the ground. Am hesitant to do so and so I seek the opinions of you all ! The last 3 yrs I have tried pruning, aerating soil, feeding etc. this season they appeared to bounce back -but, unusual for this type, mid season, the leaves fell, and there are now very few blooms. Appear skeletal and dead for the most part. As it is the Fall season, am thinking now I need to decide . What do you think ???? Appreciate your time and input. Thanks a million . :wall:
