This may not be the norm, but the cover on the top of my Goodman heat pump is rusting and cracking.
It seems insane to buy a whole new heat pump because a piece of sheet metal is going bad.

Does anyone know where I can buy this part?

Please respond with ideas on how to source this part.
Don't respond with "buy a new unit." I'm not interested in buying a new unit. I know the unit is old, but a lot of parts have been replaced.

Thanks

Good luck with that one. You would probably be better off fabricating something to reinforce it. You'll never find a top for that thing.

You could try to contact Goodman / Janitrol and see if they have any replacement covers or a newer model that could be retrofitted. If you have a metal fabricator in your area, take the pictures to them and see if they can help.

Thanks for the responses. It seems like this isn't an easily available part. I'll keep a eye out here for any other responses and follow up on a metal fabricator.

Thanks
