Hi,
I have a Kenmore On Demand water softener. One day I noticed I didn't have soft water anymore so I cleaned out the salt tank and put new salt in since there was an ice bridge before.
I put the unit through a test run and noticed that the water coming out of the brine tube that's attached to the float was just a very slow trickle. I imagine at the rate it was flowing, it would take several hours just to fill the tank with a foot of water. I never paid attention to the flow before, but is this too slow? Is there a blockage somewhere?
Should I have filled the tank with some water after I cleaned the tank?

The brine flow control is stopped up. It is located under the venturi on the left side of the valve.
