I'm planning on putting a Worm Factory on my porch where many geckos play every day. Has anyone had any problems with worms bins and geckos?

From what I remember, Geckos are insect eaters and not carnivors. I don't know about the little insurance selling Gecko with an accent eats. He may have acquired different taste now that he is a TV star.

I don't think the worms could hurt the Geckos, but you never know about communicable diseases.

This is a first I think...worm and gecko questions...wow.

The cover for the worm bins should have holes small enough to keep geckos out...or you can put screen on top of the soil.

Lizards will eat whatever is available....worms normally come to the surface at night as I remember, but only to stick a nose (or something..lol) out. DOubt there would be an issue.

Is there such a word as insectivoir?

Off topic...hey Dick...did ya know Kelsey Grammar (Cheers and Fraiser) was the voice for the Geico gecko for the first few years?

LOL! Thanks for the thought on using a screen. Some of the young geckos are pretty small, but I haven't seen the Worm Factory yet, so I don't know for sure if they would fit. The geckos are always looking for a good hiding place. I'll let you know if I have any problems.
