I installed laminate flooring in the bedroom and used shoe molding to cover the expansion gaps around the perimeter of the room, but there are still gaps around the door molding and closet moldings.

What can I use to cover these gaps?

Maybe pictures would help. I don't know for sure what you mean by: gaps around the door molding and closet moldings Do you mean the trim around the door? It should have been cut so the flooring slides underneath. At a threshold you use a transition piece or actual threshold.

We have the same problem, and I thought maybe we would try some caulking to hide our boo boo's around the edges. Do you think that could work?
