My LG dehumidifier stoped working. The fan and the compresser will not operate. There seems to be no obvious power problem. The troubleshooting chart points to the capacitor so I tested it with a 100watt lightbulb as suggested on a site telling me how to test a capacitor. It was supposed to drop 109 volts but read 101 volts. I am not sure that would cause a problem. The unit is several years old and the fan motor was replaced once about 8 months ago with a used motor. The capacitor looks very clean. I have some more voltage measurements to do but I am stumped at present.
