I have a White Rodgers 1F90-51 Thermostat. Yesterday an alarm went off that was only stopped by removing the 3 AA batteries. New batteries didn't solve the problem. Is the unit defunct or is there something I'm missing?

I looked it up, and I don't see anything saying anything about an alarm on it.

I'd say it may be time to replace it.

I agree with Jay. I think I've run across this before and I ended up replacing the stat.
