I'm thinking of starting composting.. and the compost bin that i want to make should be eco friendly, not a plastic one. so i need ideas to make a composter .. Can u share your views and ideas on that?

Eco friendly!! Place in a pile and turn over with a rake once a week.

you can try making it out of hardware fabric with wooden posts about 3 inches deep. you can paint the wooden posts with biodegradable Milk Paint to make everything eco-friendly!

Another option to consider is constructing a few bins from old pallets. You can usually get pallets free or nearly free...drive around an industrial park and I would guess you can find what you need.

Composting is very natural and tends to happen on it's own so anything you add like a bin or container detracts from your "greeness". Don't knock plastic too much. If it was manufactured, wood/lumber or plastic, it has a negative impact on green.
The pile on the ground like Airman suggested is the most eco-friendly. Next would be building our using some sort of container, bin or pen out of scrap or discarded material around your house. It can be a section of old fencing rolled into a vertical tube to hold your compost items. It can be a three or four sided box made out of scrap lumber or an old barrel that you cut the bottom out of...
