The food processor my sweetheart bought me a year and a half ago has stopped working and I suspect a burned out motor- though there was never a burning smell like there is when a hand mixer burns out. I'm frustratingly unemployed at the moment so a new one is not possible, and besides, I hate wasting equipment. Is there any way I can repair this myself?

I'm very grateful for any advice.
