My Window well near my patio is actually 2 inches below the top of my patio. When my yard floods during heavy rains (3.6 inches today) I get water in my basement. Can I add concrete or brick to top of my concrete window well to prevent this problem? How do I make a good seal? Right now I have home made sand bags I put around the top of the window well and put a good home made cover on them, but just extending the concrete up about 2 or 3 inchese above the patio would be best. Can this be done? Please help.
