My bathroom tile floor was installed about 5 years ago. Today I noticed some fine cracks in several areas of the grout (not at the corners). Do I need to cut out all of the grout or just the areas with cracks and regrout, or is there a simpler solution such as using a color matched caulk?

Well, anything you do now would just be cosmetic. If the grout is cracking, it means the floor is flexing. Caulking all this would make a good mess. I would dig at least 2/3rds of it out and regrout.
