Hey all,
i have a 29' Samsung CRT. its geometry is messed up at the sides and i can't see the test card to fix it either. So i was thinking of resetting. Is it safe? Will it solve the problems?

I would not reset it.If the set has a problem you could cause more harm. You didn't give much info about the set,age , what is off on the geometry.

Its a bit over a year old. And the geometry is not perfect its easily noticable at the sides and corners of the picture. its annoying as it is and makes me so mad that i can enter the service menu but can't fix it!

Time to take it to the shop. Not a lot of DIY adjusments to fix the convergence when it's only off at the edges.
