I always in doubt what is the right tool to get a clear cut of differnnt materials
1. plywood
2. Soft wood (pine)
3. Hard wood (Oak)
The tool I use is a disk saw on a heavy bench machin

Carbide tipped blade. If you only do occasional cutting and not production work just get a fine tooth plywood carbide blade. It should be OK for everything in your list.

If your not doing anything extreme use a finer toothed blade. It will not rip as well as the general purpose blades but it will get the job done and with a smoother cut. Also you wont have to keep changing it out when starting with softer woods.
