I recently acquired an Oreck XL 9000 series vacuum used. The lights didn't work and the cord was patched / taped in about 8 spots.
I replaced the cord and bulbs, the left bulb is brighter than the right bulb. The right side seems very dim and when I run it on high speed the bulbs (both) brighten up.
Is this normal for these vacuums or where should I look for the problem.
