We hired someone who supposed to have 20 years experience in tiling floor to do a small bedroom, the grout started to crack into small pieces. Any idea why and is it ok to wait until later to re-do it or any short term quick fix? Tenant was moving in when I found out about the grout so can't do anything about it until later. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums! Most likely the grout was too wet when applied. Temperature and humidity play a role, too. About the only thing you can do is wait until it is unoccupied and remove the existing grout and re do it. Is any of it chipping up? Was it laid on concrete, backer or wood?
