Flooring Tile - Under-tile heater question

I have a small bathroom, and am considering re-tiling the floor. I've seen some systems on the market for heating the floor, and was wondering if you'd recommend this approach. Thanks for any suggestions/advice.

These electric mat and cable systems are meant only as supplemental heating. Basically, they make the floor tile warm so that you dont get cold feet. If thats all you are expecting, then yes they work very well.:)

There actually are systems available to heat the whole house or just certain areas. They're also really energy efficient. I don't know about any others, but Speedheat Floor Heating has them. You need to tell them if you are looking for floor warming or to heat the space, though, so they can customize the system. :)

Thanks for the info! I was hoping that it might generate enough warmth to counter not only the cold floor but the cold wall tile, as well - at least a little bit. I'll do some more research on it. Thanks again.
