This brand new gas waterheater was installed three weeks ago. It worked fine for about a week and then stopped heating the water. I went up in the attic to see what is going on and discovered that there is no flame. I tried to re-light it based on the instructions but the piezo ignitor won't lit it. I tried several times but to no avail. I discarded the phone number of the plumber who installed it. I got it from my neighbour who is gone overseas for couple of months. The model # of this waterheater is 153-336572. How do I go about re-lighting it? How do I know if there is air in the line and how can I get rid of the air? Any help, please? Thanks.

Kenmore is the Sears house brand. Sears will stand behind the warranty and you can call them for warranty work.

Thanks Furd. I will give it a try but Sears or its contractor is not the one who installed it. Do they still honor warranty on a labor done by a non-sears plumber? Thanks.
