Hi all,
We are renovating our house and chose to do rebocar which I think is venetian plaster in two of our bathrooms. Unfortunately, the job was badly botched. They have tried to fix it but it just keeps getting worse. Unlike venetian plaster (that I have read about), they used a varnish, not a wax. They are telling me that paint won't stick to it and that I will have to stain it.
What say you? Any thoughts? It looks horrid. Now, my master suite bathroom looks like a prison bathroom. They used a brush on the corners and around the sockets and tub. You can see borders, drips and everything in between. It is simply unacceptable and I need some alternatives, beyond tiling the whole damn thing, to fix it.
