Ducting Systems and Air Ventilation - I need some duct board!!!

Does anyone know of any dealers in TN who sell duct board to the public? I am doing my own install and have everything except the duct board I need. Every place I called only sells wholesale and not to the public. If anyone knows of a trustworthy online site where I can buy it, that would help also. Thanks.

You should be able to get the duct board from the same place you got the duct board cutting guide (Thingeey what ever they call it).

If I knew where I could get the tool, then I would know where to get the duct board. Do the big box stores carry anything I could use as a plenum?

Hi sparkant, just put on some old paint splattered cloths, walk into a distributor and ask for what you want with no questions to give away you are a home owner. If they ask if you are a contractor say yes but cash sale will be fine. You can even have a business card as back up. To be a handyman, you have to start somewhere and they don't need to know this is your first job. What they are trying to avoid is a pile of dumb questions and they don't want to undercut their current contractors. So, if you look like a contractor, sound like a contractor, and do contracting on the weekends, you should qualify.

To add to what Bud said it helps to have a van or pickup. A BMW sedan may raise a flag.:)
