Water Softeners and Air Filtration Systems - Avantapure System -- info needed

I cannot find any information on this system I have at my house. Probably because they want me to spend $105 to have somebody come over to replace a 2 dollar part in 5 minutes. Anyway, I have high water level in the salt tank, and after hours of research, I believe that I need to clean out or replace the injector (which in some other systems that I saw around, may use a venturi type assembly). I bypassed the system by turning a couple of valves, and I slowly unscrewed the injector plug, and water started to spray out. So I re-tightened the plug. My question is, is anybody familiar with this system? How can I de-pressurize the system so that I can service it, or at least attemp to? Many thanks!
