I understand you should not vent a basement sewage pump basin with an AAV since it need 2 way air flow and you also should not tie the vent into an existing vent.

This only leaves adding a dedicated vent from the basement up thru the house to the roof? This can be very difficult to do it a 2 story house.

Are there any other options?

Also, why does a sewage check valve have to be horizontal? In this case running from sump to underside 1st floor framing would require 2 more 90 degree elbows which would significantly reduce flow.

I've seen sewage basin vents tied into other vents but it may be a code thing where you live. The check valve can be mounted vertically-we usually recommend it actually. Sometimes plumbers will install them horizontal to quiet them down, but the new silent check valves work great, so no need.
