I have a compressor and a piece of it broke off. It's a brand I never herd of, "contractor's choice" Can someone give me information on how I would g and repair or replace this to get the compressor up and running again. I included a picture showing where the broken area is; the green is where it broke off, and can I replace the entire unit that I color in blue? Thanks in advance.

You could try to track down the maker to look for the original part or replace it with standard air compressor fittings.
You can replace the cast manifold with something like this:

And use a pressure regulator like this (http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/NTESearch?storeId=6970&N=0&Ntk=All&Ntt=pressure+regulator&Nty=1&D=pressure+regulator&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Dx=mode+matchallpartial) as the one you have now is molded into the manifold:
You would only need to remount the pressure control and pressure bleed line and figure out what fittings to buy to put it all together.

Do you know the size of the outlet on the manifold that goes straight downwards into the tank? Or is all the outlet that goes in compressor tanks the same?

I can not tell what size it is.
It would be helpful if you had several fittings of a known size to be able to compare to be able to make a list of what you would need.
Another approach would be to try and track down the mfr of the compressor and try to order what you need.
There should be more info somewhere on the unit and maybe someone will recognize it if you provided pics of the complete unit.

Just a thought..but I would think a welding shop would be able to plug and braze that closed pretty easily. Looks like its brass? It doesn't appear to have any real function as it is being used on that unit.

I see regulated air is on the other end. It looks like there is enough pipe left to retread it and install a plug or any air fittings you want. That is if there are no cracks in the
remaining pipe.
