I have a tecumseh engine lev115. I cleaned the carb, put new bowl gasket new needle and seat. the float is a metal one and I adjusted it to the 11/64'' height it says in the book. There are no other adjustment on this carb. the engine starts fine and will run but it seems to pop a little and not run smooth. It is not smoking and the plug looks clean. Do I need to raise the float or lower it? or something else. thanks for your help.

I'm almost thinking to try a new plug in it...If you cleaned the carb in a bath type solution & the bowl bolt is clean as well as the air filter, the plug is all that's left... Try a new one & let us know....(I like the NGK B2LMY in these engines)) Roger
