We are getting ready to redo our bathroom (very soon as the problem below is bad, we just bought the house). The house was built in 1983. Tile is broken around the toilet and is causing some damage to the ceiling below. So there is no option but to remove the floor tile.

I know 1983 was the year asbestos was outlawed, so there is a chance we could have it in our tile. I can't seem to find a lab to send off samples to, anyone have any names or links? I'm in Maryland.

Thanks.

If your tile is ceramic, you don't have any asbestos in your tile. Nope.
