I have a whirlpool stove, not quite 2 yrs. old.

model no. SF 462 LXSQ 0 ser. no. RU 3212 180

The oven and the broiler quit working. It has Direct Spark Ignition. There is no pilot or glow ignitor, just the spark ignitor.

There is no spark or gas. Stove top works fine.
The control panel seems alright. It lets you punch in bake or
broil, but nothing happens in the oven. There are no error
warnings.

I've checked all wires for continuity, checked gas valve
solenoids for proper continuity.

Is there a good test for the spark module card ?

Hello zuzuzamm. Welcome to Gas Appliances topic and our Do-It-Yourself Web Site.

I do not know of any test the diy'er can due to test a spark module or spark control board circuit. Likely, a local appliance parts store may be able to.

However, testing often isn't the case. A replacement of the part is often offered and often done by an in home service tech. But asking at a local appliance parts store might be worth a try.

Retail parts dealers and appliances parts stores can also help determine what the possible problem may be based upon that specific brand and model. Bring the make, model and serial numbers. Dealers and appliances parts stores are listed in the phone book.

Additional Suggestions:
Read the manufacturers on line web site for product information, problem possibilities, causes, solving methods, part locations, disassembly, reassembly methods, repair procedures, pictorials, schematics, repair and or owners manuals which may be available on line.

Cautionary Reminder Note:
Before attempting any repairs, be sure to unplug the appliance from the wall receptacle power source first.
