Has anyone had good experience with Zinsser Peel Stop binding primer? I scraped down two large exterior wood window frames, and bought this product and applied it.
I assumed, primer, so the next two days I painted exterior latex over. It looks fine, but only then did I read the tiny print instructions, which say to use a PRIMER on top of this binding primer. Dang.
Has anyone used this product like I did, without a paint primer?

I've not used that particular primer. While it would have been better to use a primer per the instructions, there isn't a whole lot you can do about it now...... it will probably be ok.
