I am in need for a bypass valve, Ionics charges $187.20 for it, which I think is too steep!!! Does anybody know if I can find a non-Ionics bypass valve that fits this unit?

By-passes are a very basic plumbing feature. Make a three-valve shut-off/by-pass. I recommend ball valves for the valve and not gate or globe valves. Is this something you can do yourself or hire a plumber?

If I'm not mistaken, the bypass from a Fleck 5600 will fit. If you can provide a picture of the back and front of the valve, I can tell for sure.
