I just laid 250
sq feet of VCT ( vinyl composition tile ). I'd never done these before and on the box it said " this way up" So i never gave it a second thought and installed them the way they came out of the box. Then after completing the job and stepping back to admire my work i see, one tile with a shiny surface, which makes me think i install all the rest upside down. Please tell me i didn't. If i did , shoot me now.:madhell:

Yeah unfortunately I think you messed up. The "this way up" is probably more for storage and stacking in the store. The rougher/duller side is probably so the adhesive grabs better.
