I just got a measuring device to check runout on my Sears radial arm saw. I notice that with the blade stabilizes in, there is more runout than if I don't use them. Runout without the blade stabilizers is about .004" and with them it is about .008". The bearings on the motor have just been replaced.

1 - How much runout is accpetable and
2 - How can I improve the runout?

Thanks,
